A light, crisp and easy drinking blend, with ripe fruits and a fresh citrusy.

2. Five Foot Track Chardonnay -201l (Australia) £13.95
Subtle citrus fruit aromas are balanced by tropical flavours of ripe pineapple and mango On the palate with a delicate buttery finish.

3. Robertson Winery Chenin Blanc, 2011 (South Africa) £14.25
A pleasant easy drinking wine, with honey sweet aromas and ripe apricot fruit, balanced
by zest of grapefruit for an off dry finish.

4. Retsina Fine resonated Wine-2007 (Greece) £14.50
Its name should be enough. Blended with resin,this traditional Greek wine is sunshine
in a glass but first timers, beware the unexpected taste.

5. Pinot Grigio San Giorgio-Breganze, 2011 (Italy) £14.75
Pale lemon in colour with a fruit driven nose and a crisp, minerallly palate.

6. Santa Rita 120 Viognier, 2011 (Chile) £15.95
Lively & crisp, avoiding the big, oily texture of many a Viognier,and focusing instead on the flavour of apricot & pineapple, and delicate floral aromas. Soft in mouth feel, with a refreshing finish.

A clean dry white, with pronounced gooseberry and wet blackcurrant leaf fruit aromas, with enough zippy, citrusy acidity for a perfectly balanced finish.

8. Sancerre La Pierre blanche 2010 Fouassier (France) £20.95
A dry wine that exhibits floral notes and is very supple on the palate. It will be a marvellous companion to fish, seafood and light meat dishes or by itself as an aperitif.

Bright and crisp, with a very subtle strawberry fruit &and a refreshing dryness. The small proportion of Muscat adds a dash of juicyness.

Red Wines

11. Cuvee de Richard Red, -2010 (France) £12.95
A medium-bodied, fruity red. Grenache is blended with Syrah and the resulting wine offers up-front fruit, with good balance and length.

12. Aires Andinos Malbec, 2010 (Argentina) £14.95
Deep violet in colour, this wine exhudes smooth black fruit on the palate with warming hints of spice on the finish.

13. Otterbrook Mill Shiraz, 2009 (South Eastern Australia) £16.50
Complex, elegant and Pure. A great example of Australian Shiraz with a smooth palate of juicy plum and red berries supported with a touch of toasted oak. An ideal partner to a grilled steak in peppercorn sauce.

14. Domaine les Yeuses, Les Epices' Syrah Vin de Pays d'Oc 2009 (France) £17.95
It has wonderfully spicy, perfumed Syrah fruit and an elegant softness and roundness which mark it out as a wine of quality. The finish is long, with an intriguing bitter-sweet pepper note.

15. San Millan Reserva, Rioia, 2004 (Spain) £20.50
This Reserva Rioja has real depth of flavour thanks to the amount of time it spent aging in oak barrels. Ruby red with russet hues. This wine has developed aromas such as truffle and vanilla with a hint of cinnamon clove. An intense palate with a strong finish. A full bodied wine such as this goes beautifully with meat cooked rare or meats served with a strong sauce.

16. Hochar Pere et Fils ,2005 (Lebanon) £21.95
An intense burgundy colour with a complex nose of blackfruits backed up by figs, dates and spices. The palate is well intergrated with good acidity, fine tannins and a good length.

17. Casa Lapostolle-Cuvee Alexandre Syrah-Pinot Noir- 2008 (Chile) £27.95
Alexandra Marnier-Lapostolle, the dynamic young French founder of this innovative Chilean winery, produces wines of spectacular quality. Made by Michel Rolland, this deep purple wine is powerful and intense, with a savoury meatiness that opens up to blueberries, blackcurrants and spices. Toasted nuts and hints of oak linger on the finish.
